키움 히어로즈가 한국야구위원회(KBO)의 징계에 불복하는 용달이사견적 소송을 예고한 가운데 이를 보는 야구계 시선이 싸늘하다. KBO는 지난 28일 키움 구단의 이른바 팬사찰 논란 관련, 허민 해외스포츠중계사이트 이사회 의장에게 2개월 직무정지, 김치현 단장에게 엄중경고 징계를 내렸다. KBO는 "허민 의장이 KBO 규약의 품위손상행위를 했기에 이를 징계하는 것"이라고 설명했다. 지난해 6월 허민 의장이 선수들을 상대로 피칭한 영상이 언론에 용인용달이사 보도되면서 시작된 이번 논란은 키움 소속이었던 이택근이 구단으로부터 당시 영상을 촬영한 팬에게 언론사 제보 여부를 확인하라는 지시를 받았고 키움이 영상을 촬영한 팬을 사찰했다고 주장하며 확대됐다. 이택근 측은 이 같은 주장을 징계 요청서와 함께 KBO에 전달했다.
